These terms cover your use of [domain].com.au and the online booking form. They're separate from the Vehicle Hire Agreement, which governs the hire itself once we confirm it.
Submitting the booking form sends us a request, not a booking. Nothing is charged. There is no hire until we confirm it in writing — and until then, either of us can walk away at no cost.
1. Who we are

2. Booking requests
2.1 The form on this site sends us a booking request with an estimated total. It is not an offer we have accepted, and it does not reserve a vehicle.
2.2 We will respond to confirm availability and the final price. A hire exists only when we confirm it in writing and you accept.
2.3 We may decline a request. We don't have to give a reason, but it's usually availability, a driver who doesn't meet the age or licence requirements, or a trip that falls outside our permitted road limits.
2.4 You must give us accurate information. If the details you give us are wrong — particularly a driver's age, licence status or the roads you intend to travel — we may decline the hire at handover, and the cancellation terms will apply.
3. Prices shown on this site
3.1 Prices include GST and are in Australian dollars.
3.2 The total shown in the booking form is an estimate based on the vehicle, dates and delivery zone you select. It covers the daily rate and the delivery and collection fee.
3.3 The estimate does not include the refundable bond, fuel, tolls, fines, additional kilometres, or any charge in the Fees & Charges Guide that depends on how the vehicle comes back.
3.4 We try to keep rates and availability current, but this site is not a live inventory system. If a price or a vehicle shown here turns out to be wrong or unavailable, we'll tell you before you're committed to anything, and you can walk away.
3.5 A price we confirm in writing is the price. We don't change it afterwards.
4. Using this site
4.1 You may use this site to look at our fleet, read our terms, and request a booking. Please don't use it to do anything unlawful, to interfere with its operation, to scrape it in bulk, or to submit false booking requests.
4.2 We own the content on this site — text, layout, branding and images — or use it with permission. You're welcome to read it and share a link. Please don't republish it as your own.
4.3 We'll try to keep the site available, but we don't promise it will always be up or error-free. It's a small business website, not critical infrastructure. If it's down and you need a vehicle, ring [07 0000 0000].
5. Information stored in your browser
5.1 While you're filling in the booking form, your details are held in your own browser so the form remembers them between steps. That data stays on your device.
5.2 There's an operator view on this site that reads booking records saved in the operator's own browser. It doesn't give access to anyone else's information, and it isn't our record of your booking — that lives in our booking system.
6. Links to other sites
We may link to other websites — a payment processor, a tourism operator, a road conditions service. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
7. Privacy
We handle the information you give us through this site in accordance with our Privacy Policy at [domain].com.au/privacy.
8. Your consumer rights
8.1 Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the ACL or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8.2 To the extent permitted by law and subject to clause 8.1, we aren't liable for loss arising from your use of this site, from an error in the information on it, or from it being unavailable.

If these terms conflict with the Vehicle Hire Agreement about the hire itself, the Hire Agreement wins.
